MOODLE:
Moodle - Check with your school district/college/university to see if Moodle is set up on the server.
Moodle is a course management system. You can put Moodle on your own server which gives you more control. That ability makes it desirable for K-12 schools so that staff and students can use wikis, forums and blogs in a safer environment. The blog feature in Moodle is weak so you may want to consider WordPress.org which is a free blogging tool that may also be placed on your server giving your school more control.
